How to Kill Time When Waiting for Your New York Sightseeing Bus
Few things are as exciting as going on a New York sightseeing bus. The hardest part is waiting for your bus to arrive so the fun can get started. The best thing about New York is that there are plenty of things to do to keep you occupied while you wait. If you arrived in the city early and have some time to kill before your bus tour arrives, consider some of these activities.
Grab Something to Eat
New York City is a food lover’s paradise, so no matter where you are, you aren’t too far away from a restaurant or food cart. Sit down and have lunch at one of the great restaurants near your bus stop or grab a hot dog or ice cream cone and doing some sightseeing. There is so much to see and do that you won’t be bored for long.
Go Shopping
You can’t visit NYC without going shopping. There are so many shops and stores that it would take you months visit all of them. You may not have that much time before your sightseeing bus arrives, but you probably have time to visit a few shops. Even if you just walk around and do some window shopping, it’s still a great way to kill some time.
People Watch
New York is full of different cultures and people. So, if you love to people watch, you’ll have plenty to do. Find a nearby bench or sit on the grass and just watch as people walk by. You will not only learn a lot about the people who live, work, and visit NYC, but also about yourself.
Read a Book
Although the first thing you notice about New York will probably be the noise, it can actually be a relaxing place too. Find a quiet spot in a nearby park or at a coffee shop and enjoy a book. Once your New York sightseeing bus arrives, you can toss your book in your bag and hop on board for some more fun. You may even be able to find a bookstore to visit.
